Myriad Public Data Web Service

Introduction

The Myriad Public Data Web Service is a free service available to Myriad Playout v6 and Myriad Cloud users and is a project aimed at testing out future ways of stations around the world collaboratively working together to provide useful and accurate information, for example Artist Groups as used by Myriad Schedule Plus.

The data provided by this service contains information entered by Broadcast Radio Ltd staff combined with information anonymously provided by other users of Broadcast Radio software and/or services. When you request to download information from this web service, you will be asked if you are happy for your similar information to be uploaded to contribute to this project. No personal information is shared during the upload, however some information such as the name of your Myriad Database itself may be included in the information to help the service collate and manage information from contributors. This helps to detect and flag duplicate information - for example the same Artist Group being uploaded by multiple Stations.

If you find the information provided by this service useful, the we strongly encourage you to allow your own data to be anonymously uploaded to be included in the service to benefit other users.

Once your data is uploaded it will be sent to be reviewed by a member of the Broadcast Radio moderation team to be verified and included in future updates of the data. This process can take some time, particularly when the team is busy on other projects, but your contribution is highly appreciated as it will help improve and extend the data available.
